Pretty Little Studio Welcomes...Me!!!

PRETTY LITTLE STUDIO has been announcing the new Design Team members on its blog all week.  Have you been following along and entering to win free Pretty Little Studio Products?  You have GOT to stop by today for a couple of reasons!  Why?  Well, first, because today's blog is all about m-e-e-e-e-e-e-e!!!!!!!  Yippee!  And, if you need a good laugh, I am pretty sure I have somehow managed to turn in the absolutely, positively geekiest design team member picture ever in the history of design team member pictures!  But, you know what?  I have decided I am okay with that - because I am a big geek AND because, for the next six months, this geeky girl gets to play with fantastically wonderful PLS products and make fun layouts like this one - using papers from the Hopscotch Collection and a few goodies from the new Birthday Cake Collection.

Little Yellow Bicycle Cycling Team

This is what I am going to call my happy happy joy joy picture.  Or maybe I am going to call it my big, goofy,smiling cheeseball picture - haven't decided yet.  But, yep, that's me.  I was already in bed, getting ready to go to sleep when I decided to check my emails (and maybe talk with my friends on Facebook for a few mintues).  And what did I see sitting in my inbox?  I saw an email with THIS wonderful attachment!!!

That's right - I am going to be on the  Fern and Forest Girl Cycling Team!  Me!  LYB sent an email to me!  I was so excited reading my happy email, but absolutely no one (not even my puppy dogs) was awake in my house to share my excitement with.  So what did I do?  I got my happy heinie out of bed, jumped up and down and did some whispered cheering and then...I started doing the running man.  Right there in my bedroom.  Yes I did. (And for those of you who did not live through the wonderful 80's or were too young to remember them or the running man - check out the incomparable Janet Jackson at about the 4 minute mark HERE)

I Design for Crafting Ireland!

Top o' the morning to you!  Okay, that was a little cheesy I know, but I am so excited that I have been chosen as part of the design team for Crafting Ireland, which is exactly what it sounds like - an online crafty, scrappy, artsy publication created by a pair of wonderful women in Ireland. 

I am always a little skeptical about online publications, but when I checked CI's out, I was blown away by the talent and the ingenuity I found there!  The new Design Team's work will be featured in Issue 11, coming out at the end of June.  But Issue 10 is out now, and it is full of fantastic inspiration and ideas.  Check it out HERE.  They also have a BLOG full of info and additional projects. 

I am so excited to be part of this innovative international team, and I can't wait to share my projects with you!
